The Czesław Poborski Museum of Mineral Deposit Geology in Gliwice is located at the Institute of Mining and Geology of the Silesian Technical University. The first exhibition housed in three rooms took place in 1961. The most valuable items include collections of Fr. Leopold Szersznik, fossils from the Upper Silesia, ore specimens, paleozoological exhibits, Carboniferous flora, iron meteorites, and the so-called collection of Khabarovsk.
